APE this Friday!
Just a reminder... this very weekend, I'll be exhibiting at San Francisco's Alternative Press Expo with my favourite nemesis, Jeph "puppy-stomper" Jacques. I will be fully loaded with the usual assortment of books, posters, t-shirts and original art, and ready to burden any interested parties with free sketches or less-free-but-much-prettier commissioned art pieces.
I will also be selling the first handful of our latest limited print: Sam and Fuzzy's vaguely unsettling ode to one of my favourite game series. But for those of you who can't make it out to APE, I'll be making some of them available in the online shop later this week. As usual, this is a numbered, limited run item that will never be reprinted... so when the time comes, stall at your own peril! (Dun dun dunnnnnn!)

Hob
Dresden Codak's "Hob" storyline -- a good year and a half in the making -- has finally wrapped! Although the pages were initially serialized, it's very much the kind of comic that reads best in one sitting... which makes now an excellent time to immerse yourself in the strange concepts and joyously inventive visuals of Aaron's little universe. Just head back to the beginning and see for yourself!
Meanwhile, our big storyline over here continues on Monday! See you then.

Dawn of an era
Exciting webcomic alert! My good pal Michael Stearns -- who some of you may remember from a certain guest comic waaay back when -- is now hard at work at a webcomic of his own! It's called Dawn of Time, and it's overflowing with some of the most ridiculously delightful cartoon dinosaurs you will have ever seen.
Actually, the visual storytelling in general is top notch -- so much so that the initial chunk of the archive reads beautifully despite being almost completely wordless. And when the words eventually do come in... well, I don't want to spoil the reason why, but it's really neat.
Dawn of Time: a comic on the internet! Heartily recommended.
In other news, I'm currently busy putting together the design for a brand new limited print! This one is a bit... uh... odd, but I'm really having fun with it, and hopefully at least a few of you will to! Anyone interested in a sneak peek can check out this forum thread and watch as I chronicle the print's gradual production process.
