I've never seen Vampire Hunter D! I certainly didn't think I was the first person to think of putting a face on a hand, though.

it made me think of an old 16 bit platformer were you play as a glove with a face on it's palm... or it might have been on the 64? I remember it involved ballancing on balls and shit.
