If you're only after it to see how they fit together I wouldn't worry.

Basically
Alien goes into Aliens goes into Alien 3 goes into Alien Resurection

Predator goes into Predator 2- Predator 2 hints at aliens being involved (In the predators trophy room at the end theres a xenomorph skull)

Predators follows Predator but ignores Predator 2.

AVP and AVP requium basically ignore everything else and each other.

Prometheus sits by itself waving it's dick around being indecisive.

Linking them together is possible and you can deffintly do it, but it's something fans have done and not really any grand design by the film makers.

well it doesn't go completly against the events of 2 or anything, it's just really the characters involved in it would have no knowledge of the events in predator 2 so it's never brought up.

So The Amazing Spider Man.

It was pretty great. Before, I couldn't really see the point of restarting the series.. same as the Nolan Batman saga I guess.. and after seeing it today, I'm glad they did.

However I HAD seen half the movie already... Peter goes to Oscorp gets bit by spider Uncle dies yaddayadda.. But the delivery of this is pretty fresh, and not as goofy as the Raimi series.

Actually thinking back at it the Raimi series was hella goofy. There was a couple entertaining moments in this

What was with the plague of lizards in NYC though.. I wouldn't have thought a busy city would be a logical place for a lizard to live..

Also I actually cared about these characters. When Peter felt down and first emotional contact with Gwen in the hallway.. I won't lie I teared up a few times. I know how the story goes, but I feel sorry for Gwen and Peter and what could have been..

Of all the comic book heroes Spiderman is my favourite.. pretty much because of the animated series from the 90s.. That was good. I'm glad this new film delivered and has left me a completely satisfied fan. 4/5

There aren't very many species of lizard in New York, not because it's a city, but because the winters get very cold.

There are two species of lizard who live there, but neither of them resemble the lizards seen in the movie.

I saw the Dark Knight Rises. It was pretty good, although it has most of the same problems that the Dark Knight has (weird editing and lots of plot holes). Also, somehow Anne Hathaway was the best person in the movie which surprised me.

Agreed on all your points. Anne Hathaway was surprisingly good as Catwoman. I was really skeptical at first, but she ended up being perfect for the role. I was also impressed by Joseph Gordon Levitt.
I thought it tied the series together really well. The first two movies easily could have stood on their own, but this one ties everything together, making it one coherent story.
