How do you feel about abortion? i am pro-choice. Women shouldn't have to put their body through the most traumatic thing it will ever go through, just to add another unwanted baby into the world. That's the most selfish thing you can do. there are so many children starving of hunger, neglected and abused and i'm not going to add to that list.

Seems to me that there are adoption services in most places. It also appears to me that there are couples who can't have children. I think it is probable that in most situations the baby wouldn't have to be unwanted, or at least it would have somewhere to go. Given this I see having an abortion seems to be the more selfish option rather than having the baby. I mean, come on, whatever your opinion, an abortion is directly stopping a person living.

This isn't to say I support pro-life or pro-choice. I'm just making a comment on the selfish thing.

Would you rather sit next to a stinky unwanted baby with the most traumatic thing or with a perverted old state with the most swine flu vaccinations?

I swear these are the strangest bots known to modern science.

I break bro-code on a daily basis just to because it totally fucks with straight guys' heads.
Actually the only bro-code I follow is urinal ethics.

Mmmm, I can understand your point of view, but do not agree with it.

Have you seen the amount of red tape it takes to adopt a kid? Then there's the whole population thing. While it's true that the world is not technically overpopulated, we could theoretically support everyone, the way our global lifestyle/economy is set up that just isn't possible. So unwanted babies just add to a population problem.

I agree that people are getting looser with getting abortions, and this is stupid. It's better to be preventative then reactive in birth control methods. Abortion should not be a form of birth control on the level with Condoms, The Pill, IUDs, et cetera. Of course, the fear of educating the youth of sex and birth control just contributes to the problem, and is a backwards way to live. "If we don't teach them about sex, they just won't do it", that's just a plain ignorant point of view. Humans are sexual beings, it's a huge driving force in our lives, not to mention our culture. If you don't teach the kids, they'll hear it from somewhere else, and most likely won't be as prepared to deal with the consequences, be they broken hearts or unwanted children.

I think a lot of the "abortion problem" comes from poor education on birth control methods

Sure, there's red-tape now, but that's just cause there's not enough babies to fill the demand. When there's an abundance, you'll just be able to walk into an orphanage and pick one up. Like cats!

Abortion and Adoption... Hrm. It's like an invert of supply and demand.

Everyone supplies it, but nobody is wants it!
