I got to say Kelso, you've really improved lately. I really like the coloring on that page.

Thanks. Any art improvement is mostly due to me cheating by breaking out the camera and taking lots of reference shots. Luckily I have a variety of clothing similar to most of the characters for some reason. The colouring is what my previous entries probably would have looked like if I'd taken the time to shade them. I originally wanted to do it in a digital watercolour style, but I just could not get it to work right at all, so after about an hour I gave up and did it this way. Any good photoshop watercolur tutorials would be appreciated, since the book I have likes the vague figure-it-out-yourself explanation for how to do things.

But yeah, Kelso, its awesome. Seeing the Prince in a more realistic way was awesome. I'm going to love seeing everyone's take on each other's characters.

In cartoons no one is ever truly injured.

The Industrial District has a very good hospital.
I thought about bandaging them up more, but I just didn't feel like drawing it over and over. And Prince's cloak is "resistant to electricity" after all. It also covers most of the skin grafts.

[EDIT] Kelso thats awesome, your take on prince is fantastic. Also keep in mind Refrence photos are never cheating. Taking a shit tonne of refrence photos is one of the most fantastic habits to get into and will deffintly help you improve your art. Alot of the great realistic comic book artists heavily use refrence photos, like Alex Ross and Bryan Hitch.

I'm sorry, I had some personal issues to take care of. Well, have would be more appropriate. I'd really like to, but I don't think I'll be able to do this anytime soon. Basically I was going to have Rock God blast his guitar and generate tangible music notes for projectiles, nailing Seeing Eye Boy in the face a few times. Then Blind Man would say something like, "FOOL! With my sight missing, my other senses are super-powered! Your musical attacks are worthless!" and Rock God saying, "Actually, that'd make them more effective." and Blind Man going, "You're right!" and then "AAAAH MY EARS GOD DAMN"

and then there would be punching

Also: I am getting awfully tired of you people calling me a liar behind my back. If you don't like me, then just ignore me. It's not like I'm being negative to anyone.
