Should post counts start from 0 for this new forum?

Pros:
Everyone starts off equal.
The posts aren't accurate anyway so they're not really useful.
The old forum still shows your old post count.
The % of total posts on people's profiles will work correctly.

Cons:
Everyone starts off equal and we're elitist bastards.

I vote that we all start off at 2000 posts, and every time you post, it takes one away. If you reach 0, you can never post again, so make 'em count!

I think Jim's on the right track, but the stakes aren't high enough. I say, once you reach 0, the internet blows up. That means that you'll have ruined the internet for everyone.
