Ape escape
Sorry today's update is an hour or so late! Just had to work out a few technical difficulties. I assure you, it was as fun as it sounds! *drums fingers*
In just a little more than two weeks, I'll be exhibiting at San Francisco's Alternative Press Expo with my favourite arch-nemesis, Jeph. I'm really looking forward to it -- I've heard nothing but good things about APE, and am eager to appease any California-based Sam and Fuzzy readers annoyed with me for skipping San Diego Comic-con this summer!

Real Facts you can use
You might not know it, rest-of-the-world, but today is a special day up here in Canada. It's the mysterious holiday known as Canadian Thanksgiving, where all us canucks give thanks to the Great Beaver for the past year's bountiful igloo harvest.
But tomorrow is an even greater day... the day we elect new Maple Delegates, whose brains will promptly be inserted into the input pods of the PMA (Prime Governing Automaton). Don't forget to vote, fellow Canadians! The last thing we need is a repeat of the 1877 hive mind imbalance.

1000 more years
I would be remiss -- or at least an extremely terrible entrepreneur -- if I didn't take this moment of unbridled Blank violence as a cue to point in the direction of our Mr Blank "Ninja Showdown" t-shirt. Sam and Fuzzy was not always home to a lot of action scenes, but it certainly is now, and the Showdown design is my best attempt to translate that element into pure clothing form.
In other news, today marks the 1000th update ever here on the Sam and Fuzzy website! It's not really something I intend to make a big deal out of, especially considering that a few dozen of those updates were guest strips that I had nothing to do with... but hey! 1000 is still a lovely number. Feel free to celebrate in the officially approved manner: spending 1000 dollars in the online store.
And finally, my latest guest strip for Scary Go Round ran on Thursday, just as promised! If you missed it, you can check it out by clicking the image below:
