"Last Chance" T-shirts now $15
Hey, didja see Instant Classic's idle mention of the events of our last story? Who knew that all this crap was canon!
In other news... as you probably already know, Topatoco is clearing out a few of our older shirt designs. We're down to our last handful of random sizes... but we really want to clear the rest out.
So from now until Halloween, Topatoco is sweetening the deal by dropping the price. All our remaining "last chance" shirts are now only $15! So if you want any of the designs below, have a look and see what sizes we've got left.

Exciting Bonus Monday Q and A question:
"Was Dr. Love's true identity supposed to be a surprise? Because I recognized him right away!" -Alex
No! But boy, you would not believe how varied everyone's reactions were! I got a ton of emails about the good doctor over the weekend, so I thought I'd talk about it a little today.
When I first mentally envisioned this story, Dr. Love's true identity was only meant to be a "surprise twist" to new readers who hadn't seen any of Dr. Crab's previous appearances. I assumed everyone else would recognize him instantly. In my mind's eye, the sight of Dr. Crab in that suit with all that ridiculous facial hair would be hilariously absurd in it's blatant obviousness.
But you know what? Once I actually sat down to draw Dr. Crab's human guise... the end result was just a little more convincing than I'd expected. It's amazing what a mustache and eyebrows will do!
Don't get me wrong... many readers still spotted him right away! But some were totally fooled. Mostly, I think there were a lot of folks who thought he looked just different enough to leave them unsure if it was really him or not. And when they finally got their answer on Friday, they were left wondering if I had meant it to be a surprise!
Well, now you know the answer! But it's OK if you were surprised anyway. Actually, it's kind of awesome! I am happy to have given out a few bonus surprises at no extra charge.
Anyhow, that's a wrap for today! And just a reminder... over at Topatoco, we're clearing out some of our old t-shirt designs to make room for all new swag. That means this is your last chance to nab any of the following designs:
Overkill is One of my Many Modes
This Shirt is an Obtuse Reference...
Ninja Mafia
Explicit Cowbell
My Cat Dreams of Spatulas
Once they're gone, they're gone... so if you want one, act quick! We're already running out of some sizes in certain designs.

Sam and Fuzzy Q & A: Hoodlum Spawner Edition
Got a question you want answered? Just drop me an email with "Q & A" in the subject line!
"Are Mr. Sin's detachable eyebrows in any way related to Commander Amarao from the anime FLCL, or it is just a coincidence?" -Katie
Just a coincidence! As we'll see, Mr. Sin's head is a beautiful blank slate that can be accessorized in a variety of different ways. Just ask his various completely real, suspiciously identical twin brothers!
(That said, FLCL is one of my absolute favourite anime cartoons TV shows things ever, so there may have been some subliminal influence going on there!)
"I was watching an informercial while reading a Q & A of yours, and now keep imagining that you have an obnoxious voice. What can I do to remedy this?" -Justin
Come to a convention and meet me in person! I think you will find that my charming, dulcet baritone will remind you of a young Vincent Price. (Not really.)
Alternately, if you ever get a chance to meet Chris Hastings, you could ask him to do his "impression" of my voice. I'm not actually sure what inspired it, but it's pretty life-altering. He squeals "III'MMM SAMMM LOOGAAANN" in a voice that sounds like Larry King's drunk grandmother. I wish I could do it half as well as he does!
"Are Doctor Love and Doctor Crab related?" -Chuck
Of course not. Don't be ridiculous!
That's a wrap for this week. Come back on Monday for more comics! And don't forget... over at Topatoco, we're clearing out some of our old t-shirt designs to make room for all new swag. That means this is your last chance to nab any of the following designs:
