Notes from the road
Today's newspost was brought to you by: hijacking Starbuck's free wifi!
We are in Niagara Falls, which is one of the stranger places I've ever been. This will be no surprise to anyone who has visited there before, but the unstoppable march of human progress has ensured that the falls are now paired with an entire street of wall-to-wall haunted houses, "4-D rides", ferris wheels, bowling, indoor minigolf courses, outdoor minigolf courses, and this Burger King. Makes sense to me!
(No it doesn't.)
We return with new comics and other stuff on Friday. See you then, team!

Expo 86'd
Well, our first Fan Expo has come and gone. Though the spot for our booth was a little unusual and... well, actually kind of dark(!).. we had a great time and got to see plenty of readers new and old! So rest assured, Expo-ers: we will definitely be coming back next year. (Although probably in a regular booth!)

PS: One thing about Fan Expo that really interested me: it has the biggest artist alley I have ever seen! And it's integrated very thoroughly into the rest of the showfloor, between the pro and vender booths, rather than being segregated away in any significant physical or symbolic fashion. I really like that! We'd probably consider staking out a spot in the alley ourselves, if we didn't have so much crap to store inside our booth. (Carrying a million sizes and designs of t-shirts will do that!)
Fan Expo
Sorry friends! No time for Q and A today... I am too busy being immersed in the chaos that is Fan Expo!
Are you attending the show? Come visit me and Weregeek's Alina at booth 1600, which you'll find right next to exit D! As usual, I have a broad assortment of shirts and art. And of course, I also have both of my books, which I'll be happy to sign and draw all over. Bonus!
(Of course, if you can't make it to the show, don't fret... we have signed/sketched books in our online store as well!)
