Whoop... it's Fan Expo Vancouver this weekend! If you're going to be at the show, stop on by booth #513 and say hello! I'll have plenty of swag -- including our new Steam Power: 100% Practical for Everything shirts -- and will also be signing and drawing stuff. Woo!
Sam and Fuzzy Q & A: ALLCAPS Edition
Got a question you want answered? Just drop me an email with "Q & A" in the subject line!
"Did comic 1558 just subtly reveal the precise moment when Aaron's hairstyle changed between Noosehead and Fix Your Problem?" -David
Ha! I was wondering if anyone would notice that. Yes, yes it did. He pushed his hair back and it stuck that way. Forever. That's the canon explanation.
"In the last panel of this comic, is Fuzzy talking into some sort of bow tie walkie talkie? Cause that'd be awesome." -Connor
He is! I figured that sort of thing would make sense, considering he can't really carry a cellphone. (At least, not without stealing the "where do you keep that gun/none of your damn business" joke from Sam and Max.)
"On your tumblr, you imply you listned to Jeph's feedback when designing your new shirt. Do you always take advice from your arch nemises? It seems like a bad idea." -Caitlin
Jeph is currently in the midst of a massive multi-year plan to trick me into trusting him by offering nothing but helpful opinions. At the five year mark, he's going to tell me that swimming in a cement mixer is good for your pores.
That's a wrap for this week, team! See you on Monday.

Vancouver Fan Expo this weekend!
For added effect, you can always re-read today's montage panel while listening to the theme from Tchaikovsky's Romeo and Juliet Overture. (Thank you, twitter friends, for reminding me what that song is!)
In other news... holy smokes, Fan Expo Vancouver is this weekend! I will be sharing a booth with my pal Alina from Weregeek... booth 513, to be specific! I'll have a truly impressive swath of Sam and Fuzzy swag in tow -- including our new Steam Power: 100% Practical for Everything shirts. And of course, as usual, I'll also be signing and drawing stuff. If you're going to be at the show, be sure to swing by!

Steam Power shirts have arrived
They're here, they're here! Our new Steam Power: 100% Practical for Everything t-shirts have arrived, proudly sporting famed cat inventor Theophilus and his various inventions, including the world-famous steam-powered sandwich.
The whole thing is based, of course, on Miracle of Steam strip from a few weeks back. A lot of you really wanted to see that strip morphed into shirt form, and I hope the finished design scratches that itch with maximum effectiveness. If you'd like to nab one, you can find it in the Sam and Fuzzy Topatoco store, along with all our books, shirts, whiteboards, magnets and other swag.
In other news, our latest twitter Sketch-Off was a big success! You can see all the pics I wound up drawing -- all of them based on reader suggestions -- right here. It was a ton of fun, especially now that we could video-stream the drawing process. (There are archive videos of the drawing sessions here, if you are actually interested in watching someone silently draw to music for four hours.) We'll have to do it again sometime!
-Sam Logan
(PS: At the moment, all of the originals are sold or spoken for except for "Samus Devahi", which is up for grabs for $25 to the first person who emails me about it. Lies! It's gone, too. Thanks!)
