Stop, pack, and roll
Whew... things are getting a little hectic over here as I scramble to get everything ready for this weekend's Calgary Expo! But I can do this, team. I believe in myself.
Any of you fine folks out there who are planning on attending Calgary Expo can find me at booth #1122, which I am splitting once again with my pal Alina from Weregeek. And many of my other pals from Topatoco will be there, too, in booth 920/1022, immediately across the aisle from Alina and I. I'm sure there will be a lot of objects being thrown, so keep your head low.
As usual, I will have an impressive array of books, shirts, art, and other swag in tow, and will be doing plenty of sketching and commissions. It should be a lot of fun! Here's a map that shows where our booth is, at least in relation to the main entrances. Click it for a PDF of the entire, massive showfloor. (It's big!)

Con Fever
Thank you, everyone, for a swell first Fan Expo Vancouver! It was wonderful to see so many locals turn out for the show... they're going to have to do some serious expanding next year to accommodate all of you!
It was also wonderful to see so many folks get excited about next month's Vancouver Comic Arts Festival! (Not to mention how many people were clearly already aware of the show and planning to go... awesome!) I think after a month of decompression, VanCAF will make for a satisfying indie-and-web-focused ying to Fan Expo's broader-geek-culture yang. Personally, I'm just pumped about having two new shows to go to in my hometown. (With a third, Anime Revolution, hitting this summer!)
But VanCAF is still a bit over a month away. Before that, I must continue the Canadian con trifecta begun by Fan Expo, with Calgary Comic Expo this weekend, and the Toronto Comic Arts Festival the weekend after. That's right... I actually scheduled myself to exhibit at three shows in a row. Will my psyche survive? Only one way to find out!

Whoop... it's Fan Expo Vancouver this weekend! If you're going to be at the show, stop on by booth #513 and say hello! I'll have plenty of swag -- including our new Steam Power: 100% Practical for Everything shirts -- and will also be signing and drawing stuff. Woo!
Sam and Fuzzy Q & A: ALLCAPS Edition
Got a question you want answered? Just drop me an email with "Q & A" in the subject line!
"Did comic 1558 just subtly reveal the precise moment when Aaron's hairstyle changed between Noosehead and Fix Your Problem?" -David
Ha! I was wondering if anyone would notice that. Yes, yes it did. He pushed his hair back and it stuck that way. Forever. That's the canon explanation.
"In the last panel of this comic, is Fuzzy talking into some sort of bow tie walkie talkie? Cause that'd be awesome." -Connor
He is! I figured that sort of thing would make sense, considering he can't really carry a cellphone. (At least, not without stealing the "where do you keep that gun/none of your damn business" joke from Sam and Max.)
"On your tumblr, you imply you listned to Jeph's feedback when designing your new shirt. Do you always take advice from your arch nemises? It seems like a bad idea." -Caitlin
Jeph is currently in the midst of a massive multi-year plan to trick me into trusting him by offering nothing but helpful opinions. At the five year mark, he's going to tell me that swimming in a cement mixer is good for your pores.
That's a wrap for this week, team! See you on Monday.
