You're all reading
Boy on a Stick and Slither, right? It's strips like
this one that remind me why
I do.
Also,
R Stevens has gone insane and apparently that makes for
really good comics.
Finally, over at
Instant Classic, Brian is running a few weeks of guest strips, and next Monday's was done by yours truly. Don't miss it!

I can not overemphasize what an extremely bizarre experience it is to draw two Fuzzys interacting with one another.
Much to discuss today! First of all, John A has put out a completely original
Scary Go Round book starring sexy superspy Fallon. I haven't seen it yet, but I have heard
good things. It's pretty inexpensive, too, so you really have no excuse NOT to buy it.
Conversely, you have a fine excuse not to buy the brand new
Pillows single -- it costs 16 bucks to import it, and it only has three tracks! Fortunately, (or unfortunately, depending on your point of view,) the songs that
are on it are fabulous. The fine folks at
this Pillows fansite can hook you up with some lowish-bitrate mp3s of the songs if you need to hear 'em first to decide if they're worth the investment, but either way, you're probably better off waiting for the full album.
A couple of months ago, I was contacted by a reader who wanted to send me two issues of a writing magazine that she worked on. The magazine is called
NFG, and it features a (very!) wide variety of writing goodies, including short stories, articles, poetry, and yes, even some comics. This is a glossy, professional looking magazine, and the editors accept submissions from basically anyone through their
website. It's a great opportunity for any young writer who is trying to find a place to get their work published.
Finally, there is a new piece of fan art in the
gallery! Go lookit!

For those just tuning in -- yes, I am back from having my appendix removed and yes, I uploaded
the comic that should have run on Friday when I got home from the hospital on Saturday. And now, here's today's comic, right on schedule. As a result of all this activity, I've had to mess around with some image filenames a bit. If you are still seeing Friday's comic instead of today's, hit refresh and your problems will all be solved!
Amazingly, while sitting in the emergency room on Thursday night, the thing that bothered me the most was that I wasn't going to be able to update the site. Isn't that sick? I guess it goes to show you how much I enjoy running this site.
If you're not familiar with the sombrero-wearing Future Fuzzy in today's comic, you might want to have a look at
these strips. It won't hurt, I promise.
That's all for now. I'll have lots to talk about on Wednesday, when I imagine I'll be feeling more like my old self. Cheers, all.
