Just a reminder... I'll be at Gottacon in Victoria this weekend! Hope to see a bunch of you there.

GottaCon starts this Friday!
Yup... it's almost time for my first convention appearance of the year! If you're going to be in Victoria, BC this weekend, be sure to swing by GottaCon and say hello! I'll have a broad assortment of books, shirts, and art in tow, ready for you to purchase or just delicately fondle.
Sam and Fuzzy Q & A: Belated Monday Edition
Got a question you want answered? Just drop me an email with "Q & A" in the subject line!
"This isn't really relevant to the current chapter, but did we ever find out why Bonus can remember some things from before Fuzzy's memory wipe when the other robot clones couldn't?" -Patrick
I never dug into it to thoroughly, but the idea is that all the robot clones have the same flawed copy of Eric's brain that Bonus does, and thus, probably all have the same burried fragments of memories as well. Bonus was just the only one to have those memories triggered into resurfacing by encountering Fuzzy and Hazel. But they've all got them. (And perhaps more importantly, none of them have other memories that Bonus doesn't have.)
"On page 1170 why is Hazel leaving before Brain acquired Rexford’s code? And in such a hurry! It’s almost like she doesn’t WANT to be near Rexford. Who doesn’t want to be around a dinosaur with a monocle?" -John
By this point, Hazel has worked for Rexford several times, so she and Brain would have already obtained his code long before this scene.
That work history is also why Hazel didn't want Fuzzy to accompany her on the delivery... because Rexford would have met Eric several times as well! (This, in turn, is why Rexford is confused when Hazel refers to him as "Fuzzy".)
Hazel is just nervous because she can tell that Rexford has grown suspcious of her. But towards the end of the scene, she and Brain take the opportunity to remove all that suspicion from his brain. Poor Rexford! Maybe he shouldn't be so hard on himself for blindly trusting her.
"I know you letter with a custom font that you developed originally out of your own handwriting (at least, I assume it's evolved slowly and is still the 'same' font), and I was wondering if you had ever considered releasing it into the wild?" -Roo
A few folks have asked about this over the years! But I think I'd prefer to keep it to myself. It is indeed based directly on my own handwriting... and it'd just feel super weird to see my handwriting in other people's comics.
That said, if anyone is ever looking for a good similarly "traditional"-looking all-caps comic font, there are lots of great options over at Blambot!
We return on Wednesday with our next comic. See you then!

Apologies for the lack of news postery yesterday! I was in the midst of a lovely all day tour of America's Airports. I'll do our next round of Q and A on Monday instead. See you then!
