Sam and Fuzzy Q & A: Subliminal Edition
Got a question you want answered? Just drop me an email with "Q & A" in the subject line!
"So in this strip we see a Saucy Boutique ad. Did Gertrude expand the Saucy Hippo into other Saucy ventures?" -Tom
She did indeed. By this point, I think Gert has a pretty healthy little empire.
"Now that I know you're a Gravity Falls fan I have to ask- who is your favorite character?" -Gwen
I love the whole cast, but Grunkle Stan is my favourite. I feel like that character is able to walk a lot of lines -- between crochety and endearing, lazy and driven, ridiculous and serious, lame and badass -- in a way that is really interesting and entertaining to watch. (Plus, I am 100% into his mysterious backstory.)
"Is there any overlap between the Omnibus and the "regular" books?" -Chris
No! I know a lot of Omnibuses out there are just re-collections of previous smaller books, but not ours! The Omnibus contains every Sam and Fuzzy strip up to #1045, and the regular books pick up immediately afterwards with strip #1046 onward.
That's a wrap for this week. See you on Monday, team!

Spring Reading Book Sale
It's true! For the next week, Topatoco and I are putting the entire Sam and Fuzzy print library on sale... both the "new series" of books that began with Fix Your Problem, and the massive two volume Omnibus that collects the entire Classic and Noosehead arcs!
You see, friends, the truth is: we straight-up need to free up room in our warehouse for new stuff. Did you know that stockpiles of gigantic two-volume Omnibuses take up a lot of space? Well, they do. But what if one of those Omnibuses could be taking up space in your house instead? Because now it can... for an astonishing 30% off! You know what I call that? A series of words followed by a percentage.
If you have been holding off on picking up my books, or if you know someone else who needs them desperately, now is the chance to act. Not only will you get a great deal on some pretty books, but you'll do me the double solid of supporting my work and literally cleaning up my mess. Woo!

Webcomicry
Alas, the time has come to say goodbye to Girls With Slingshots. I'm sad to see it go, but I'm looking forward to whatever Danielle does next! I wonder what it will be? Let's all grill her about it at Calgary Expo, where she'll be sharing a booth with us this year.
I'd also be remiss not to point you towards the Gastrophobia Vol 3 kickstarter! It's one of my favourite comics, and if you haven't read it yet, now is a great chance to pick up all three volumes.
