Patreon backers: today's your last day to submit ideas for this month's bonus drawings! I'm going to be drawing a bunch of S&F characters in various different costumes, based on a completely random selection of your submissions. (That's right... any idea might wind up getting drawn, regardless of how weird or dumb it is!) I'll try to draw as many as I can.
Our next comics arrives on Wednesday! See you then, team.

Sam and Fuzzy Q & A: Dark Edition
Got a question you want answered? Just drop me an email with "Q & A" in the subject line!
"You've probably received that specific question a hundred times by now, but... What on Earth was this dark matter inside Unit01's core?" -Emilien
It's a surprise! In seriousness, though, you'll be finding out on the not too distant future. I've heard some fun reader theories, though! Some of the related past lore references are buried very deep.
"I'm working on an Eraser cosplay and I was wondering, how do they see? Is the suit made of some sort of one way glass like membrane or do the black dots make up some sort of eyepiece like a telescope or are they just blind?" -CJ
I think the Erasers see via small cameras built into the mask, which then feed into some sort of digital display that's built into the inside (or possibly into some sort of contacts that they wear). We've seen them use night vision in the past, and they presumably have infrared options to see through their own smoke clouds, so there definitely needs to be some artificial enhancement going on.
When I drew the nightvision comic, I lit the dots up as a visual indicator of what was going on. But since the dots themselves don't really line up especially well with a person's eyes -- especially on the two-dot masks -- the cameras are probably not actually centered inside the spots. That said, picking one of the three dot masks and making the eyes out of a material you can see through is probably a good approach for cosplay!
"Are you going to be at Calgary Expo this year? And will you have the new books there?" -Jake
I will definitely be at Calgary Expo, my friend! However, the books will not be arriving until after the show, so if you're wanting to nab 'em, I recommend getting them in our pre-order store.
I will, however, have a ton of other new and exciting crap since last year's show! In addition to our usual selection of shirts and books and art commissions, I'm starting to amass a pretty fun collection of prints and posters for my con appearances. Woo!
That's a wrap for this week, everyone! See you on Monday.

Zoop zoop
We return on Friday with a new comic and a new round of reader Q and A. (If you've got a question you'd like me to answer, just tweet it at me or pop it in an email with "Q and A" in the subject line!)
Meanwhile, over on my tumblr, I posted a bunch of Zootopia-related marker sketches that I drew at the con this weekend. Enjoy!
