Two more comics to finish this chapter, and with it, this book and storyline. Whew! Come back on Wednesday for the next one.
And in the meantime, I would be remiss not to remind you of all the fun new swag that launched in my online store. I've got a new enamel pin, a new corgi ornament, and two packs of Christmas cards available to order RIGHT NOW!

Sam and Fuzzy Q & A: Unseasonable Edition
Got a question you want answered? Just drop me an email with "Q & A" in the subject line!
We've got a big newpost for you today, gang. A full Q and A lurks below, but before we lunge into it... I should really tell you about all the fun stuff we just launched in my Topatoco store!
The "Roll For Initiative" pin that I designed for Gen Con's pin bazaar sold out at Gen Con this year... so they made one more run of 'em, and they're available now in the online store in limited quantities! You'll also find a cute new Baker the Corgi Christmas Ornament. It's translucent, and perfect for hanging in your tree (or whever else you want).
And last but not least... I've designed a bunch of new Christmas cards! We have 8 designs now, available in two themed variety packs or one big discounted bundle. You'll find 'em in the store, too!
I know it feels a little early to think about Christmas, but I wanted to launch these guys as early as possible so folks could get 'em in plenty of time to actually use!
All right! Thank you for joining me for that string of plugs. Now, onto your questions!
"First, I love your work. And because I love your work, I want to support you. When are looking at the next omnibus set (V and VI) coming out?" -Ben
Thank you, Ben!
Omnibus V is actually already available! You'll find it in my online store right here. (There is also a softcover version available, for folks who prefer those!)
I am working on Omnibus VI... the final one of this storyline... right now! At one point, I was thinking of kickstarting it in December, but I might leave it until January. I'd like to do it soon, though, since it's been a long time coming and we have almost gotten to the final comic of that book.
"Is the main story line between Sam and Fuzzy really coming to a close? I can't believe it. I used to read this in Junior high and now I'm a working adult, almost Sam's age and with just as much confusion as him. End of an era, man. Thanks for always keeping this story great and consistent! Time to take some time off work to do a re-read...or just re-read the entire story at work!" -Faraz
It really is! Believe it our not, our current story will end on Friday, November 22nd... in only three more updates!
You know, it's kind of funny. A friend of mine recently said to me: "You have to do something to celebrate this. I'm telling you this because I know you weren't planning on doing anything." And they were completely right. I made absolutely no plans. I didn't even think to take a break from my update schedule... there will be a new comic on Monday, Nov. 25th, as usual!
The truth is, I constantly have to be reminded that this is a big deal. It took so long to get here... so, so, long... that I have completely lost touch with how big a deal it is. I've had this ending in my head forever! And I wrote these last comics quite a while ago. At this point, my brain has just been happily buzzing along thinking about all the things I'm working on now: the next comics, the Saucy Hippo comics, my next Invader Zim story, holiday merch, and who knows what else. It has not really sunk in that this ending... the ending I planned a million years ago... is actually really finally happening right now.
I guess I should do something to celebrate though, huh? Uh... any suggestions?
"A while ago, you mentioned that the specific point in the S&F timeline that the [Patreon] Saucy Hippo comics take place was a "surprise" that you'd reveal later. Now that we're reaching the ending of the story, I was wondering... do they take place after the ending?" -Dave
They do! Folks backing my pin-up art on Patreon have been secretly reading stories about the future all this time, without even knowing about it. Ha ha!
That said, as always, I recommend the Saucy Hippo stuff primarily to folks who enjoy cute 18+ comics... not people looking for essential S&F lore or plot developments. I decided to set those comics post-ending because that just seemed like a good "calm" place in the timeline to tell light, silly stories about the character's sex lives without any major looming doom. It's not super relevant to the stories I've done so far... it's more of a fun easter egg.
I think the the Saucy Hippo stuff is fun and true to the characters, but it's really only aimed at S&F readers who like sexy comics and art. Folks who are not into that stuff never need to worry that they're missing out on anything "important". Any big revelations or developments about the future of the S&F universe will happen on my regular comics here on the site!
That's a wrap for this week, team. Come back on Monday for our next comic!
