Sam and Fuzzy Q & A: Bandmates Edition

"In Limbly's first appearance, he's black-eyed like the rest of the gang and seems quite opinionated! Ever since then, he's been pretty quiet, with a couple of X's for eyes.
Haha! Worry not for old Limbly. He is definitely still alive, and can still speak! He just doesn't get many opportunities to talk since he's such a minor character. (He actually has a line in an upcoming comic, but only one.)
However, his head does take quite a beating, since he's been using it to play that giant timpani drum for several years now. I think I started drawing him with Xs in his eyes in an attempt to further exaggerate the... er... impact that his art is having on his body. (The shot of him passed out on his drum was probably a similar attempt.) But for now, we'll say he's just regularly dazed and confused, rather than literally comatose.
In all honestly, I don't even remember making the eye switch! Until you pointed this out, I would have sworn he always had X eyes...

Flick will probably be very disappointed to learn that's already done. He wants a gimmick that's all his! So it probably needs to be something less emulatable.

The "Saucy Hippo" tier of my Patreon is pretty much the only place I post it, yeah! I will occassionally share "PG" pieces or previews on my social media, but I'm always a little wary about doing so because I don't want to annoy any followers who aren't into it. (Or who are used to reading my stuff at work!) I've found Patreon to be a great home for my pin-up work because it's opt-in and has an age gate. (Well, and also because the support of my backers is the reason I've been able to make time to start drawing it regularly!)
As for a book of pin-up stuff... I'm not sure! There's certainly enough content for one at this point, but I'm not sure how much demand there is for it in dead tree form. It might be something I think about in the future, but for now I'm focused on finishing the final Sam and Fuzzy books. (Which I'll be kickstarting soon, I swear!)
