Pet Sounds
In case you were wondering, Friday's untimely demise of Fidgital McDigits is going to be addressed in our next story, and was not just an extremely weird non sequitur. It's a longer one, so before I lunge into it, I'm taking a brief break between chapters to do some gag strips.
Today, we have the return of Butcher the cat! And also, I suppose, the return of Garfelb, who appeared in the introduction to my Vote Dog book. (Vote Dog collects the first few years of my President Dog, Baker the Corgi, and other pet comics! I hope to make a follow up book someday collecting some of the more recent ones.)
We return on Wednesday with our next comic! See you then.

Sam and Fuzzy Q & A: Podcast Edition
Got a question you want answered? Just drop me an email with "Q & A" in the subject line!
I've got something a little different for you for this week's pseudo "Q & A"... I did an interview with the True North Country Comics Podcast. We talked about some of the comics that influenced me growing up, what my creative process is for S&F and other comics, and how my work has been affected by this weird, weird year! You can also learn just how many verbal ticks I can stuff into a single sentence when I am speaking outloud rather than typing. (I think it's pretty impressive.)
We'll return on Monday with a new comic! And our regular written Q and A feature will return next week, too, when I'm feeling a little less exhausted by this whole smoke situation. See you then!

Smokey and the Bandit
Jess is an intense lady.
Boy oh boy, friends... it has been a bit of a struggle to get things done lately! The smoke situation up here in Vancouver, as you may have heard, is real bad, much like it is across the west coast. I've got my windows sealed and air filters running, but it still feels pretty gross. I'm still finding the energy to draw, but I'm definitely running at about 50% capacity. Oy!
That said, this Friday should still bring a fresh new comic. And also, hopefully, a new round of Q and A! As always, if you've got a question you'd like answered, just email it my way with "Q and A" in the subject line, or hit me up on twitter.
