President Dog Origins

Gosh, I had a wonderful time at VanCAF! Thanks to everyone who come out to say hi.

While I decompress (and unpack) from the show, I thought today would be a good day to share this particular piece of President Dog historia!

As longtime readers may recall, President Dog's first appearance was in this comic, as a film series being pitched by Bonus. But I had so much fun with old Prez Dog, I wound up spinning him off into his own stand-alone comics. Later on, when I was making the Vote Dog book, I wanted to include a version of his first appearance that would fit with his stand-alone comics. So I created this alternate, expanded (and coloured) version of his first comic to use in the book... one where the entirety of the gag happens "on screen", so to speak.

Anyway, I don't think this version has ever been published online before, so enjoy! And see y'all on Wednesday, team.
