Vancouver Comic Arts Festival

All right! If you're gonna be in Vancouver this weekend, come swing by the Sam & Fuzzy table at this year's VanCAF! It's table e9 in the exhibition hall area. I am well on the mend now, so I'm feeling good about my odds... but if I can't make it, my fabulous wife Jesi will be there holding down the fort. We'll have a ton of S&F t-shirts and all the books, so come on by!

Personal Training

At the time I wrote this post (Tuesday), I am still pretty flippin' sick, dogs. In the hopes of giving myself max time to recover, and a chance of still going to VanCAF, I thought I'd put together a little excerpt from my most recent Saucy Hippo Patreon storyline to run over the next couple of updates.

So a little background for you: This story is called Personal Training, and is about Dev's attempts to signal to Mr. X that she is into him. This particular excerpt is a relatively stand-alone series of gags that I think are pretty cute, so if you've never seen 'em before, I hope you enjoy them!

The full version of this story is nearly 50 pages long, and I've been working on it for over a year! It's basically done now... the final pages will be going up later this month. (As soon as I am healthy enough to finish them, haha!) Just please be aware that I'm not kidding around about that "NSFW" tag! It's a very sweet story with lots of cute jokes, but there are also a lot of naked people and smutty things. Plus: Dev swears. It's pretty fucked up.

Sicko

Hoo boy, my friends. I have truly been sick as hell these past few days. It's a throat infection, and it suuuuuucks. The doc says I'm no longer contagious, and that I should be feeling better over the next couple of days as I work my way through more of this run of antibiotics. Things are starting to improve (slowly), so my fingers are still crossed for VanCAF. But we'll just have to wait and see.

In the meantime, I have definitely not been awake enough to do much drawing, so here's a silly little thing I put together using some art from an previous Saucy Hippo patreon pin-up. Much like Dev here, I am also currently spending my time in bed, but definitely not in a sexy way. (Unless you are really in gross horking sounds.)
