Bang! Pow! Blam!

I was in LA for the 4th of July a few years ago... the first time I've ever spent that holiday in an American suburb. And I gotta tell you... I was blown away (not literally) by how long the barrage of exploding noises lasted. We have fireworks in Vancouver, and people like to use 'em on Canada Day, Halloween, and New Years especially... but the scale of noise is nothing like it is down there on the 4th!

Anyhow, Dipper hates fireworks, and he always hides when he hears them. Just hearing one is enough to do it! Poppy, on the other hand, seems completely disinterested in them. I've even taken her for walks while they're going off, and she just ignores them.
