It feels like I'm back in high school, which is weird, because I'm only ten



If you own an Xbox, PS2, or gaming-capable PC, please give Psychonauts a try. I gather the game has not been selling well, and I honestly don't know why. Maybe there is a magic inverse relationship between sales and awesomeness. Maybe this is the decade where everyone decides to hate things that are fun. Our children will refer to it as "The Joyless 00's."



But Psychonauts is the business. Everything fires on all cylinders. The sheer unbridled imagination of the project is glorious to behold, and it's backed by meticulously perfected technical execution in every facet of its gameplay and presentation. This is one of those few narrative-driven games that really feels like it could stand shoulder to shoulder with any great film or television series. In fact, I can only think of one other title that achieved comprable success... Beyond Good and Evil.



Give it a look, at least! I think you will enjoy it.

I didn't have much interest in sports or school elections



The venerable web institution known as Dino Comics has joined us in the Dayfree Press family! If you've read Ryan's work, you know how lucky we are. I've seen other webcomics with a similar form or premise, but I've never seen one done nearly as well as Ryan does his. His writing is so funny that it makes me very angry with myself.



And yes, the rumours are true... I have taken the helm of Dayfree Press. Our previous pointman, Neil Gustavson, is a tad overworked, so he's stepping asside so that he can devote more time to his other projects. Fortunately, no one needs to worry about me spreading myself to thin because I AM A MACHINE.

I've got a couple of days off work ahead of me, and I'm hoping to use them to answer all the long-neglected emails in my inbox. I think I've reached the point where it is no longer feasible for me to answer every single email I get. Which makes me wonder... how to you choose which ones to answer?
