The island and it's population of not-actually-dead musicians was introduced in the Return of the King storyline. If you haven't read it yet, you should check it out! It's only six comics long. You can handle it, tough guy!

Anime Evolution
Claire and I are away in Vancouver at Anime Evolution! Are you coming? You should come.
I will usually be stationed at my table in the Artist's Alley, where you will be able to purchase swag and score some drawings. However, I will be away from the booth during the following hours, attending the following events:
* Sam and Fuzzy Q & A Panel: Friday 3:30 pm – 5:00 pm
* Guest Meet & Great Dinner: Saturday 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm
* Webcomic Q & A: Sunday 12:30 pm – 2:00 pm
At all other times I'll be at the booth. But Claire will keep our booth running during the hours I have to be away, and I will keep it running solo when she has to be away, so there should be someone there at all times.

The world of comics lost a great creator this week. Mike Wieringo was my favourite artist working in American superhero comics today. His online sketchblog has been a part of my daily online routine for ages. I wish I'd had the chance to meet him in person... by all accounts, he sounds like a really amazing guy.
Tomorrow I head out for Anime Evolution. I'll be there all weekend, and I'll be loaded with drawings, books, and shirts. Stop by and say hello if you can!
