Be forgotten, and don't be reminded
Claire and I are spending the day in Vancouver, taking it easy and doing a little Christmas shopping. First stop, Daiso, the only Canadian branch of Japan's gigantic everything-for-$2 store. I don't know what we will be coming back with, but I'm sure whatever it is will enrich our lives in the way that only random things worth $2 can. For example, these fabulous paper bags. (That photo isn't actually ours -- a quick google search for 'flowing imflowing' revealed that we are only two of many to stumble across these things.)
T-shirt 3-packs will make their oft-delayed final bow on Friday. So, if you were looking to get one and haven't gotten around to it, you still have a couple of days to act. All is not lost!

The spine
Starslip Crisis is in the middle of an absolutely killer storyline. Admittedly, this is not a great time for new readers to jump in cold. But it is a great time for them to start reading the entire comic from the very beginning, so that they can properly enjoy the delicious payoff that is currently unfolding. A major commitment, sure, but when have I ever steered you wrong?
(And no, that one time does not count. The other three wheels were fine, ketchup and tomato sauce are easily confused, and they totally didn't look like a cop from behind.)

Zzzz
Whew! It's been quite an epic week. Between the massive pile of drawings that Claire and I are doing for the next issue of YES Mag and the hours of fun I've had running around town borrowing other people's non-broken internet connections, it's been a bit of a marathon.
I was thinking of making today the last day for t-shirt 3-packs, but I think I might let them stick around for one more week. I have to admit, this is probably just as much because I am too exhausted to recode the store as because of anything else. But what the heck! It may be too late to buy a 3-pack that can be used as a Christmas gift, but it's never too late to buy one that can be used as a late Christmas gift.
There, I've just rationalized it! NOW IT IS LAW.
