Scamble scramble scramble... today is my last day in town before I leave for Anime Evolution!

For those of you who can make it, do swing by the Sam and Fuzzy panel... which, contrary to what I said before, will be taking place on Friday at 3PM. In addition to all the usual nonsense, I'll also be sharing some vague plot hints and preview artwork for the next volume of Sam and Fuzzy. It should be fun!

The rest of the time, look for me in the Artist's Alley, at the megabooth I'm splitting with David from Snafu Comics. You can't miss us -- we have giant signs! As usual, I'll be armed with an assortment of shirts, books, posters and art, and will also be primed and ready for your sketch and commission requests.

As for those of you who can't make it out to the con this year -- ie: most of you -- don't fret! Let the Sam and Fuzzy website be the virtual convention inside your heart. My email inbox is nearly as good as any awkward, over-the-table con conversation. And all my shirts, books and posters -- from Conscience Cat to Communism -- are waiting patiently right here in the online store.

Con hype

Anime Evolution is only a few days away! If you are -- or can be -- in the vicinity of Vancouver this weekend, why not swing by the con and say hello? My table in the Artist's Alley will be thoroughly fortified with impressive quantities of t-shirts, books, and original art. And I'll also be doing a panel -- on Sunday at 11 AM Friday at 3 PM -- where I may or may not be previewing a little artwork from Sam and Fuzzy volume five. Pow!

Next week: the climactic final chapter of a story 2 1/2 years in the making begins! Yes, the arc that will (possibly) change everything you know about Sam and Fuzzy (sort of) kicks off in only 72 short hours. Who lives? Who dies? What are they wearing? Find out in our shocking, epic conclusion!

And don't hog all the excitement to yourself, long-time readers. Spread the word to all your non-reading friends... there has never been a more confusing or less comprehensible time to start reading Sam and Fuzzy!
