Sam and Fuzzy Q & A: Post-O-GAWD Edition
Got a question you want answered? Just drop me an email with "Q & A" in the subject line!

"I noticed that your current volume is much shorter than the last few.
Was that a conscious decision on your part to tell a less 'epic' story,
or was it just what was happening to the characters next?" -Dave

Well, neither actually! Although our current volume is almost over, it is only the first part of a much larger story. Think of it as "book one" of the inevitable print collections. That's what I've been doing!

"What is Rikk Estoban up to? Is he plotting something truly morbid?" -Emma

I think Rikk is still recovering from the intense creative explosion that resulted in Skull Panda in Love, his first book. (Also, I think the process of signing and illustrating all those artist editions was a bit more draining than he anticipated.)

As for Rikk's cartoon counterpart... between you and me, I think the odds are about 3:1 in favour of him turning up in Sam and Fuzzy sometime this year.

"Why were all the O-GAWD guest strips drawn by dudes? Do you hate the ladies?" -Alex

Actually, I asked quite a few of my female webcomicing comrades if they would like to contribute! (Although that certainly isn't why I asked them... they just draw great comics!) But unfortunately, they all either politely declined or had to drop out at the last minute.

Probably because they are all sexist.

"Who says what in the last panel of this comic?. My instinct is that each balloon correlates to where the characters were in the second to last panel, but they could also cross over, or something else entirely might be going on." -Jack

Interesting! When I wrote it, I did so thinking that Dev spoke the first line and Sam spoke the second. But perhaps it would be more interesting to leave it up to reader interpretation! Maybe you feel that Dev spoke the second line. Or maybe you feel that Fuzzy spoke it! That would add an interesting undercurrent of psychological disorder.

That's all for this week, folks! See you on Monday.

The end is near

A moment of your time, t-shirt wearers! Over at Topatoco, we are closing out some of our beloved but elderly t-shirt designs. They all had a good run -- "I'm Communism" was the second shirt I ever made! -- but now the time has come to send them off and make way for new swag.

T-shirts soon to be gone forever and ever:
I'm Capitalism
I'm Communism
Skull Panda Loves Kitties
Skull Panda Head
Can't Dance
Dr. Crab

If you would like to secure one of any of the below for yourself, act quick, or live a life of regret and shame.
